Marty Crumpton
August 28, 1992  -  March 12, 2017

Mr. Marty Alan Crumpton, age 24 entered heaven on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Stephens County Hospital.
A son of Phil and Louise Smith Crumpton, he was born August 28, 1992 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  Marty enjoyed life to the fullest.  He loved everyone and never met a stranger.  He loved to attend church at Tates Creek Baptist Church. He loved singing, traveling and just being among those he loved and he was loved by many.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Carlie and Evelyn Smith and paternal grandparents, Willis and Agatha Crumpton.
Survivors include his parents, Phil and Louise Crumpton and twin sister, Katie Crumpton, all of the home; sisters, Selena Rees and husband James Rees and Sharon Crumpton all of Toccoa; several nieces, nephew and great-nieces and several aunts, uncles, cousins and neighbors who were like grandparents.

Conner Stephens Payne
June 23, 2002 - July 14, 2016

Conner Stephens Payne, age 14, of Toccoa gained his Angel Wings on July 14, 2016.

Born June 23, 2002 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of Charles Stephens and Connie Lawson Payne.

He was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church in Mt. Airy, GA and he was a student at Stephens County Middle School.

Family members include his parents Chuck and Connie Payne of the home; sister, Caraigh Payne of the home; grandparents, Betty Payne of Toccoa, Jenny Lawson of Demorest, Eddie and Jois DeMore of Turnerville; aunts and uncles, Tony Payne, Scott and Sandy Payne, all of Toccoa, Chris Lawson, Chad and Mandy Lawson all of Mt. Airy; cousins, Slater and Spencer Payne of Toccoa and Carleigh Lawson of Mt. Airy; his beloved coon dog, Bonz; and numerous cousins, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frederick Steve Payne and Howard L. Lawson.

Those we love can never be more than a thought away.......

For as long as there is a memory, they live in our hearts to stay.
